All the countries in world have tradition-rich civilizations with amazing places to visit. Evolution of these civilizations has important dates associated with certain events to rejoice with full enthusiasm. The top 10 amazing places to visit during such festivals or events can be listed as below.

The culture and festivals of India:

Apart from festival of light, Diwali celebrated in October-November every year and festival of colors, Holi celebrated in March, the most important festival which should not be missed is Kumbh Mela, the first priority to visit. It is celebrated after every four years at Prayag (Allahabad), Hardwar, Ujjain and Nasik by rotation. Every faith related to Hindu religion associates itself this mela which is a complete reflection of cultural unity of the country despite diversity of geographical regions or religions. Ganesh Chaturthi, the second in list, is celebrated in the month of September/October in Mumbai with great enthusiasm by locals and tourists.

The culture and festivals of Europe:

In Europe, the third in the list of most amazing festivals is La Tomatina. It is celebrated in Bunol near Valencia on last Wednesday of August. Important highlight of this event is tomato fight, taking place between 11 AM to 1 PM amongst almost 50,000 people. This crazy event is visited by thousands of tourists from all over the world.

Las Fallas is the Fourth event in the list. City of Valencia in Spain gets transformed into carnival of fireworks, papier-mâché figurines, bonfires and wonderful performances in the middle of March. Festival is expression of unity for homeland by merging art, tradition, sentiments and satire. Fifth festival in list is San Fermin, celebrated from July 6 to 14 at Pamplona in Spain. People dress-up in traditional white dresses from head to toe with red handkerchief in neck. All the nine days, people enjoy continuous partying and music to the rhythm of Penas and charangas. The festival ends with bull race following the young men. The sixth carnival in the list may be rejoiced by visiting Tenerife, Sitges and Cadiz cities in Spain. During these carnivals, people in traditional dresses dance whole night on streets in an atmosphere full of buzz of celebration with ritual parades and astonishing performances.

The culture and festivals of Egypt:

Ramadan and Eid celebrations, the seventh in list occur for three to four days with overnight performances. Tourists can enjoy the cultural affinity amongst the different faiths in Egypt during these days. On 17th June, Egyptians worship Nile and tourists can enjoy the picnic along the bank of river as eighth festival. It is full of rituals for longevity and fortune. The list rests on ninth festival Coptic Christmas on January, 7 at Cairo. Decorations of buildings with colorful lights and after midnight celebrations are highlights of this festival. The tenth festival which can be included in the list of top 10 amazing places to visit is Shame-Naseem in which travelers can join natives to spend days in country-side.
